PROJECT OVERVIEW

Inspired by the history and iconography of Baur au Lac, Martin Brudnizki Design Studio have imagined a stylish space that takes the classic brasserie concept to the next level, blending contemporary chic and invitingly cozy atmosphere with dishes that shall become future classics and an utmost refined wine list.

An impressive decorative lacquered ceiling with contrasting fabric inserts offset four large Murano glass chandeliers, creating a sense of grandeur and warmth. Frosted glass panels are used to subtly divide tables, ensuring an intimate ambience is always retained whilst a mixture of low-level table lighting, ceiling lights and chandeliers enhances the cozy and familiar atmosphere.

To complete the look and feel of this chic, yet relaxed design MBDS opted for a selection of candle, traditional GLS and G9 lamps from Zico Lighting’s very warm white 2000k range with amber tint. Coming in a range of brightness and excellent dimming capability, the lamps provided flexible and adaptable lighting allowing to showcase the interior design and transform the mood based on the time of day.

We have tested Zico clear A60 GLS LED filament lamp on our standard multichannel CB Series of dimmers: they dim perfectly from 0 to 100%.

I have never seen a mains dimmable filament lamp dim so perfectly and to such low stable levels, I am amazed!

We have tested the same lamps on our trailing edge single channel dimmer with exactly the same result.
